In ancient Chinese poetry, there are many words to describe the lush pines, light smoke and white clouds in the mountains in order to portray the beauty of a mysterious atmosphere and express an appreciation of nature.
Inspired by the clouds and mist in the mountains, Tuntex designers incorporate the calmness and artistic realm of nature into the carpet design, creating a state of tranquility and refreshment.

Q: What would be the key words for the design
A: We think it should be Veiled and Serenity
Veiled: Misty air hides away the shape of the mountain. Fresh, moist air gives a scent of moss, grass, and leaves. Away from the concrete jungle – that’s where you can relax.
Serenity: Feel the tiny water droplets in the air, Rediscovering yourself in the mountain mist
Q: What would be the most unique aspect of the design?
A: Typically, carpet design is bold and expressive, but this time, we tried to make it implicit and subtle, to better incorporate the softness and peacefulness of mountain mist. It’s not easy to represent the feeling and It took a long time to select the right colour combination and way to construct and finally achieve the design we all wanted.
Q: Anything special about the colour ranges in this collection?
A: We followed the same idea of keeping it more subtle and reserved. We intended to choose more natural and softer colours to preserve the feeling of mountain mist, while making sure the colours are also trendy and adaptable to any modern interior spaces.
“I believe this is one of the most delicate designs I have ever seen. With its minimum decorations, the design truly brings warmness and softness into your heart.
This design is being released during this unique time when the whole world is experiencing social challenges and fighting against the virus. Just like the intention of the design, we sincerely hope we can return to normal life and regain a sense of peace soon.”
